Abstract

According to this preliminary work there is an association between disproportionate growth of the fetal head in relation to the trunk and limbs and raised total serum IgE concentrations in adulthood.

Diskussion

Let us recall that high IgE concentrations in adulthood are associated with higher risk of atopic diseases such as eczema and hay fever.
