Abstract
This is a follow-up of 16,193 infants born in Great Britain in 1 week of April 1970. 33 of these children developed cancer by the age of 10. The main finding was an increased risk of cancer among children who had been injected with vitamin K at birth.
Diskussion
This is the first study which suggested that there might be a link between vitamin K injected at birth and childhood cancer. See entry 0159.
