Abstract

The authors investigated whether low birth weight predisposes to renal disease in one community in which renal failure incidence has reached 2700 per milion and is doubling every 4 years. Among adults a high urinary albumine creatine ratio was associated with low birth weight.

Diskussion

One of the many studies establishing correlations between low birth weight and adult diseases.
